Global Alliance for Innovative Learning

GAIL (Global Alliance for Innovative Learning) is a consortium of eight schools all over the world, whose Secondary students collaborate in real time with the help of technology. GAIL provides students who are not enrolled in an international school, an international school experience of working with other students from different cultures.

Students also have the chance to participate in student exchanges, whilst teachers can engage in teacher exchanges and teacher research projects, in which they travel to a sister GAIL school for 2-3 weeks and conduct their own research into better teacher practices. The GAIL school year culminates in a Conference, hosted at a different school each year.

As "GAIL Champion", one of two GAIL representatives, I co-designed and organized an eight-day Conference with 120 attendees from 8 countries on the theme of
A Balanced Life.  Read the latest blog post about the Conference and see my interview with a Chinese English-language News television program here.
